April 24, 2013 – After a fast track to tax-exempt status, the Center for Natural Living is hosting a launch party and benefit to celebrate the goals and objectives that lie ahead for the health conscious – and curious – communities of Austin. The long list of this organizations’ goals for 2013 range from providing fluoride filters to new mothers and hosting health education meetings in underserved communities, to building and sustaining a community garden right here in Central Texas. The Center is even producing educational programming for users and supporters through a project called “Sovereign Living”.

The launch party will be the first time the board and members will be able to connect with the community, and Executive Director John Bush said, “this project is something every family should look into, regardless of your level of knowledge on ways to live naturally and more healthy. This is definitely a family focused event and organization.”

The event will take place on May 4th from 5pm to 8pm at Irie Bean Coffee on S. Lamar Blvd. A live stream of the event will also be provided for supporters who are far away. The evening will include live music, local organic food, raffles, door prizes, silent and live auctions, speeches from activists and experts, activities for the kids, and more!

The mission of the Center for Natural Living is to demonstrate the value of voluntary cooperation and natural living in the areas of sustainability, family, and health by creating educational media and helping families to fulfill their basic needs.
